A hidden hideaway with private hot-tub in the old stable block

Courtyard Cottage 1 at Grove House is a charming romantic cottage for two. Once part of the original stable block, it is now a cute little cottage surrounded by historic character and cosy comfort.

Downstairs is a cottage style bathroom and an intimate bedroom with a comfy bed and atmospheric cut-stone walls.

Upstairs, the light-filled open-plan living space features four skylights and French windows. The compact kitchen is well equipped with a hob and oven, fridge with freezer, and microwave. The cosy lounge includes a sofa, armchair, Smart TV,  Bluetooth speaker, and free Wi-Fi (subject to network access). The French doors open onto a private deck with a hot tub, overlooking beautiful green fields – the perfect spot to relax and unwind.

Had a lovely two night stay in courtyard cottage 1, the cottage itself had everything we needed and was spotless. The little added touches were a bonus. The location was perfect so quiet and peaceful, but close enough to local amenities. The hot tub was our personal favorite, we enjoyed winding down after a long day exploring Cork’s hidden Gems. Would highly recommend, already looking forward to our next stay!

Just back from 2 nights in Courtyard cottage 1. Gorgeous stay from a lovely note on arrival , a nice bottle of Prosecco waiting for us and a hot tub with the most stunning view. The host were so helpful before we even arrived we didn’t have to contact them once during our stay. Everything you need inside the cottage no need to be leaving ❤️ Will definitely be returning ❤️

It’s for adults only. You must be 18 years of age to stay with us.

The nearest town is Skibbereen, which is just a 5 minute drive from The Treehouses, Barn, and Courtyard Cottage 1 & 2. Newbridge Cottage and River Lodge 1, 2 & 3 are even closer as they are within walking distance along the riverside walk to town.
