Hotels in West Cork are all very well. But couples looking for cottages with a jacuzzi need look no further. Accommodation in West Cork comes in all sizes: hotels, self-catering cottages, bed and breakfasts… only Cottages for Couples provide all the answers. How about a boutique hotel room with its own private jacuzzi suite, in a period converted stable, in the grounds of a Georgian country house?

Courtyard Cottage 2 at Grove House is all of this.

Downstairs you will find your bedroom with king-size bed. Walk through the deep red drapes and you will find yourself in the self-contained jacuzzi suite – complete with two person jacuzzi. Light the candles and let the bubbles do their work.  The bathroom with shower is adjacent to the bedroom. Also downstairs, Courtyard Cottage 2 has its own private sun-deck overlooking the gardens of the Main House.

Courtyard Cottage 2 has its own private hot-tub on the exterior sun-deck.

Upstairs is open-plan. This allows the natural light to flood in through three skylights. The kitchen may be compact but it still has a hob and oven, fridge with freezer and microwave. The lounge has a sofa, an armchair, TV  and Bluetooth music tower. There is free Wi-Fi broadband access (subject to network accessibility).

For reasons of hygiene, we change the water in our hot-tubs from time to time (this is in addition to sanitising with chlorine before each guest arrival). This means that very occasionally the tub will not be up to temperature on the first day of arrival but will be fine by day two of your stay. This only apply to stays of two days or more.

Pricing

• • All rates are euros and are inclusive of VAT
• • Rates based on minimum 2 night stay based on two sharing.
• • There is a MINIMUM 2-NIGHT STAY in all cottages at weekends and at all times in the treehouses with the following exceptions: i) where bookings fall to leave single nights available these can be booked. ii) where there is a block of 3 available nights, a single night can be booked but not the middle night.
• • There is a minimum 2 night stay in all cottages for all dates in July, August and September and at peak periods such as Valentines, post-Xmas and Easter  with the same exceptions as above.
• • For one night stays there is a supplement of €30 to cover the cost of linen and cleaning which is usually spread over 2 nights.
• • Rates may change during public holidays, school holidays and certain prime dates.
